A Proven Leader for Multnomah County, District 2
Serena Cruz brings an impressive amount of experience to this race. She served two terms as a Multnomah County Commissioner, becoming the youngest woman and first Latina elected to the Board. She later ran the county's day-to-day operations as their Chief Operating Officer. Her priorities include integrated shelter, treatment, and housing for people in crisis, Preschool for All, and investment that brings family-wage jobs to neighborhoods too often left out.

Stay tuned for additional candidate endorsements for both Oregon and Washington.
We're proud to share that all four candidates endorsed by NAYA Action Fund have advanced through the Washington State primary and will appear on the November 3rd general election ballot.
No Hate in Washington State
This November, Washington voters will decide on two harmful ballot measures. I-001 removes common sense school records protections. It strips away protections for students facing bullying, discrimination, or domestic violence at home. I-638 would require invasive exams for all girls playing school sports. Both measures put our young people at risk, especially our 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
NAYA Action Fund joins the No Hate in WA State coalition in opposing both measures and stands with our community in protecting Washington's students.
