Policy Win: Regional Policy Oversight Committee

On July 2, Portland Metro Council voted to support Ordinance No. 26-1547, adding a member of the Native community with housing experience to its housing oversight committee. NAYA Action Fund Chief Executive Officer Oscar Arana testified in front of the council in support, a direct result of advocacy work led by NAYA Action Fund.

In Action: Kim Harless Fundraiser
On July 1, NAYA Action Fund showed up for Kim Harless at a community fundraiser in Vancouver, WA. Endorsing candidates is only part of the work. Showing up for them matters just as much, and that shows up in more than one way. NAYA Action Fund also made a financial contribution to Kim's campaign, another way of standing behind the candidates we believe in.
